Hello list, I have installed hylafax-server hylafax-client and capi4hylafax under Debian GNU/Linux "woody". The capi4hylafax*.deb is currently only avaible in Debian-unstable but I got an older pakage, which is according to my libc. On the hardware-side a AVM B1 card works in my server. My last problem was on the faxcover.ps (Could not reopen...). Now I have the problem that I can send faxes with 'sendfax -n..' without any problems from the local console. I'm using WHFC for submitting faxes from a Win machine. This program displays correctly: HylaFAX scheduler on CASSIOPEIA.local.lan: Running Modem faxCAPI (): Running and idle But I can's submit a job from WHFC. A telnet to 4559 shows: 220 CASSIOPEIA.local.lan server (HylaFAX (tm) Version 4.1.1) ready. user root 230 User root logged in. stat 211-CASSIOPEIA.local.lan HylaFAX server status: HylaFAX (tm) Version 4.1.1 Connected to DURON.local.lan (192.168.0.4) Logged in as user root (uid 60002) "/" is the current directory Current job: (default) Time values are handled in GMT Idle timeout set to 900 seconds Using long replies No server down time currently scheduled HylaFAX scheduler reached at /dev/FIFO (not connected) Server FIFO is /client/3135 (open) File cache: 15 lookups, 0 hits (0.0%), 1.1 avg probes 14 entries (1.5 KB), 0 entries displaced, 0 entries flushed TYPE: ASCII; STRU: File; MODE: Stream; FORM: PS No client data connection 211 End of status quit 221 Goodbye.
