[hylafax-users] recommendation on a modem

Hi all,

I have, for many months, been struggling to find a new external modem to
work with Hylafax.

Generally the modems won't answer ever, recently I can't even get them to
send either!

This is with a variety of different Linux boxes, installations and modems.

So, the bottom line queston is - can anybody please recommend to me an
external serial modem I can buy here in the UK at a shop, now, that will
work with Hylafax?!!

Either that or the absolute-idiot's guide to writing modem strings for
Hylafax!! :)
