Hi, Joe -

I'm a new HylaFAX user too, so I can't offer any depth in my reply, but
here's what I did to test my installation. As root:

sendfax -n -d 6045865237 /usr/share/cups/data/testprint.ps

You would have to substitute your own recipient phone number, and the
PostScript file can be anything handy on your system. I knew that this
CUPS test-page was only one sheet long :-) Another file on my system
that I used (about 6 pages): /usr/share/emacs/21.2/etc/refcard.ps

(our geographic area requires 10-digit dialling, even for local calls.
Hence, that number *appears* to be a mal-formed long-distance number
lacking the leading '1', but in fact it is correct).

This should help you verify your installation,
	-Gord
