Hi Jacky ,

I have the same problem too on a Hayes 14400 modem, using another fax
software called bgfax (dos Based) , after I switched to another modem (us
robotics) , the problem seems to be fixed. I will guess that it is hardware
related.

PS : This only occurs if the fax is text based , if the source is in PS or
PDF , no problem to send.
