I have a patch which I'd like to test which should prevent the modem from hanging in the receive state. As for the problem with the timeout... I don't know. It could be one of the myriad of USR bugs out there, but oddly the other person who has reported this stated that it didn't occur when using 4.1.2. So, maybe you could report on 4.1.2 having this problem? Maybe you'd like to try my patch?
