Hi Peter, when saying that you do the "export" as root, do you run the sendfax from the same shell? The environment variable will only be visible there. Try -h saturn.local Argument to sendfax (man sendfax), and if that works, then set the FAXSERVER from a script that is valid for all users. This will depend on your linux distribution I suppose.
