[hylafax-users] Update on Problem with Distinctive Ring

Folks--

As I have indicated in previous messages, faxgetty does not seem to
differentiate between my two rings that the modem returns, "RING A" and
"RING B". Thus both my lines are answered.

I have noted, however, that the Caller ID information seems to be
obtaining my RING information. I.e. I will get a

FaxGetty: ANSWER CID NAME "RING A" ...
...
FaxGetty: ANSWER CID NAME "RING B" ...

This is very odd. I have been looking at the FaxGetty source and wonder
if I can simply hack for now and do a string compare on the cid.name
string?

It is a complete hack, but I am completely at a loss as to why cid.name is
obtaining the ring information. Seems a bit strange in the least.

Any answers to this quandary would be greatly appreciated! I can also
resend config and log information if necessary.

Sunil
