Hi Bodo, 
sounds good, but please mention, that I will not get this message with
"jkill" when I  
start a wrong login on a working testserver.

Did you add an IP range or individual users (see man faxadduser) to 
hosts.hfaxd? 
Please note, that you have to restart HylaFAX afterwards.
