Why don't you grep on the log files looking for the Job ID that failed. That way you would know which fax to resend. Filename Hello all, I was just wondering if anyone knew of a way to identify a file name being faxed and associate it with the actual fax job ID. The situation I have is: I've written some code to parse a file which creates multiple faxes and sends them. The issue is, if a fax ever fails I can only identify it by JobID rather than the actual name of the file being faxed. I've tried specifying the -i option to sendfax but this did not have the desired results (unless it records the file name elsewhere and I just haven't found it yet. Basically if a fax fails I need to be able to know specifically the file name (which is dynamically assigned) more trhen I need to know the id, only because I have to change some of the content of the file before trying to send it again. If anyone knows of a way withing Hylafax to log the file being faxed as well as the job ID, your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Lonny Selinger LPIC-1 ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@hylafax.org < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@hylafax.org.* ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@hylafax.org < /dev/null *To learn about commercial HylaFAX(tm) support, mail sales@hylafax.org.*
