[hylafax-users] etc/inittab entry

Hi,

I don't know if my question wouldn't be asked better on another mailling
list ...

I am running hylafax (and love to do!) on SuSE 8.0. Now, when I uncomment
the entry in /etc/inittab:

# fax getty (hylafax)
# mo:35:respawn:/usr/lib/fax/faxgetty /dev/modem

I then can receive faxes too ... but then wvdial stops working properly.
It dials, it connects but doesn't start the pppd. As hylafax is using
/dev/modem so does wvdial use /dev/modem too. Can anybody help ... or
point to a source where I can find some?
