I' ve installed hyf on a Freebsd 4.6RC machine. No problem. It sees the modem, recognizes it as a class 2.0, communicates with it and finally goes into "running and idle" state. I' ve created an /etc/ttys entry: ... ttyd0 /usr/local/sbin/faxgetty ttyd0 dialup on secure ... and the files config.ttyd0, FIFO.ttyd0 were created. The real big problem is that it won't answer the calls. When a call is inbound the status goes to: "listening to the rings from the modem" and then nothing happens. It only answers when I manually provide a lot of "faxanswer ttyd0"s. It then will receive the fax and store it in the proper place. Can you advise me? Thanks. ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To subscribe/unsubscribe, click http://lists.hylafax.org/cgi-bin/lsg2.cgi On UNIX: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@hylafax.org < /dev/null
