[hylafax-users] Converting to formats other than TIFF4?

Hello.

I am writing regarding the file format options for HylaFAX v4.1.2.

Is there a way to save incoming faxes in a file format other than TIFF4?  
I am aware that TIFF4 can be converted to a few other formats, but 
reading through the mailing list archives it seems that a lot of people 
have problem in the conversions.

Alternately, can someone point me to a list of file conversion options 
that are available to me on a Linux system.  This TIFF4 file format is 
really a problem (don't ask) that I need to work around.
