the queue size seems to be limited to 32000 on a single box, this has
been reported on the list in the last days. (source says "for historical reasons")

you may need multiple boxes. There is no integrated load balancing, 
you will need to do it externaly (DNS-round robin, target client to another server)

(see www.hylafax.org somewherfe) which you may use to build this.
