" Allows users to "print" a document to a network printer. The Samba server
then sends the document to smbfax, which prepares it and sends an e-mail to
the owner inviting her to complete the fax via a web interface. The user
then clicks on the provided link, fills in the fax information (recipient,
comment, coverpage options, etc.) and clicks on the "send" button."

the problem is that not all users of this might have email addresses. What I
am after is the ability to fill in the number etc... from the win32 printer
driver.

I have considered writing lp filters for this and getting the users to input
FAX:00000000 COVER:NO etc... in the document and parsing them this way but I
think this is a bit messy.

Have you looked at smbfax, it is supposed to have this type of
functionality.
