I want to change the compression type that Hylafax uses using RecvDataFormat, but it doesn't appear to be working. I added the lines: MaxConsecutiveBadLines: 5 RecvDataFormat: "2-D MMR" to config.device, restarted faxgetty, and then watched as a fax rolled in: Apr 30 21:27:25 n1 FaxGetty[26449]: ANSWER: FAX CONNECTION Apr 30 21:27:51 n1 FaxGetty[26449]: RECV FAX (00008372): from 8019822600, page 1 in 0:18, INF, 3.85 line/mm, 2-D MR, 14400 bit/s Apr 30 21:27:51 n1 FaxGetty[26449]: RECV FAX (00008372): recvq/fax08458.tif from 8019822600, route to <unspecified>, 1 pages in 0:26 Apr 30 21:27:52 n1 FaxGetty[26449]: RECV FAX: bin/faxrcvd "recvq/fax08458.tif" "ttyM1a" "00008372" "" Apr 30 21:27:59 n1 FaxGetty[26449]: MODEM LT V.90 1.0 ISI5634PCI DATA/FAX MODEM VERSION 4.18Q LT V.90 1.0 ISI5634PCI Data/Fax Modem Version 4.18q/ Notice the "2-D MR" above. Doesn't that mean that Hylafax is using 2-D MR when storing the fax as a tiff? Shouldn't Hylafax be using 2-D MMR now?
