[hylafax-users] Postscript disturbing sleeping

good morning, (or good evening)

As I was sleeping, a question wake me up suddenly :
How HYLAFAX is compatible with Postscript ?
I mean ...
Why I must already install the "Apple laser color 12/660 PS" printer ?
and
Why not install the last driver from HP (for ex.) in a Postscript format ?
When I send fax in a Openoffice text format or calc or whatever you want but in 
the last versions (like OfficeXP), how can I be assured that the "apple printer"
will be at the top for doing a good print job cause it is not at the last 
Postscript versions ?
well, there is surely an answer to my question.Perhaps it's a stupid question.
