Yes, I agree, I just know that it can be very hard for someone whose only experience with *nix is setting up their hylfax server, and it does appear that there alot of them here. I am only slightly ahead on that matter as I'm also supporting a sendmail box and still frequently use the command prompt in windows. It is easy for someone from the windows world to get confused by some of the things in *nix, especially the commands and their syntax. I also applaud all of those who are giving *nix a try when all they've known is the windows world. I've known how difficult alot of it sounds when reading man pages and such, most of it sounds alot more difficult than it actually is. -----Original Message----- From: hylafax-users-bounce@hylafax.org [mailto:hylafax-users-bounce@hylafax.org]On Behalf Of procadas@iol.pt Sent: Tuesday, March 26, 2002 7:32 PM To: hylafax-users@hylafax.org Subject: Re: [hylafax-users] Need help getting out of this mail list Well, the mail command can put things a bit hard but the rest of the line it's more like a interpretation exercice. unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@hylafax.org See? __________ http://www.IOL.pt Todo o mundo passa por aqui! ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To unsub: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@hylafax.org < /dev/null ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To unsub: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@hylafax.org < /dev/null
