Quoting Mr Poirier Xavier <xpoirier@ch-bourg01.fr>: > Does anyone knows how to have the "subject" of the fax the user puts in > is mailfax in the notification script.I meen, when the user send is fax, > the user receive a notification containing somes information about the > "status" of the job. > But there is information concerning the "JobID" the "Time of execution" > the "mode" etc ... and the user would like to have the subject of his > fax too. Unfortunately, the subject of the fax is not currently saved by the server (it is not even transmitted to the server by the client) it is only used by sendfax to pass to faxcover. This is also a problem with continuation cover pages and is mentionned in bug #245 ( http://bugs.hylafax.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=245 )) Now that I think of it, if you receive the jobs via mail, you do have the control on what is sent to the server. You may be able to use the JobTag field to save the subject and it will be reported in the notify. I've not tested it but it should work. -- Patrice Fournier pfournier@loups.net ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To unsub: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@hylafax.org < /dev/null
