My specific implementation of HylaFAX allows me to specify parameters based on specific destinations. So...I can specify "-1" for the machines that need it and let sendfax do its default thing for other machines. Smarter people than I will probably have a better way to specify the "-1" on a per destination basis. -Jeff H.
