Hello Again, Maybe you can help me with something; My company is in Hong Kong. When chinese suppliers try to send us FAXes, my Hylafax (4.1) is unable to process them - even though a hardcopy FAX has no problems receiving from them. I believe that the issue is the poor line quality between Hong Kong and China, and poor telephone lines in China in general. How might I adjust the settings in Hylafax 4.1 to accomodate 3rd world telephone quality? ---snip---------------------------------------------------------------------- Oct 31 11:31:22 ddi02 FaxGetty[5222]: MODEM input buffering enabled Oct 31 11:31:22 ddi02 FaxGetty[5222]: --> [4:RING] Oct 31 11:31:22 ddi02 FaxGetty[5222]: MODEM input buffering enabled Oct 31 11:31:31 ddi02 FaxGetty[5222]: ANSWER: FAX CONNECTION Oct 31 11:31:42 ddi02 FaxGetty[5222]: RECV FAX (00000297): recvq/fax00160.tif fr om 24283295, route to <unspecified>, 0 pages in 0:11 Oct 31 11:31:42 ddi02 FaxGetty[5222]: RECV FAX (00000297): session with 24283295 terminated abnormally: Unspecified Phase C error, including too much delay betw een TCF and +FDR command Oct 31 11:31:42 ddi02 FaxGetty[5222]: RECV FAX: bin/faxrcvd "recvq/fax00160.tif" "ttyS0" "00000297" "Unspecified Phase C error, including too much delay between TCF and +FDR command" Oct 31 11:31:42 ddi02 FaxGetty[5222]: <-- [5:ATH0\r] ---snip---------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you, Graham Leach CIO, DD Industries ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To unsub: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@hylafax.org < /dev/null
