Bob -- Do you want to set a delay between each fax send, or to delay a re-dial when the receiving fax is busy? I don't think the tags Pedro suggested would quite do the trick: PollModemWait won't kick if the modem resets cleanly; ModemATCmdDelay would put the wait time before EACH command sent to the modem; and ModemWaitTimeCmd only affects how much time the modem waits for a carrier after the call is placed/answered. If the dial string time outs that Lee suggested don't seem to work, you might try setting ModemDTRDropDelay to a high value. This is the time in milliseconds that HylaFax waits between dropping the DTR signal to force a modem reset, and raising it to continue with the modem initialization. And/or you could try setting ModemResetDelay to a high value. This is the time in ms that HylaFax waits after the DTR signal is raised. This ought to force a consistent delay between each fax job, but I don't know if there are maximum values for these tags, or if long waits would make the system cranky. It's a bit kludgy to be sure, but as long as there has been code, there have been kludges to fix an unforeseen problem and get on with it. I also think HylaFax is an excellant, useful program and I'm pleased to have it. Thanks to Lee and everyone else who helps support it.
