[hylafax-users] Cover page and BreakIntoLines
Dear All,
I've managed to get Hylafax (V4.1) and WHFC working very nicely (on an
ageing Mandrake distribution), in just about every respect except the
comments on the cover page.
I spent a happy hour or so with tgif laying out our coverpage, and then ran
it through make_faxcover to get all the right field (dictionary ?). However
comments are a problem.
Using CommentsX works, splitting of the comments into lines seems to remove
_all_ the spaces from the all the lines except the last one.
So I've tried using the BreakIntoLines solutions (which looks better in
theory), but I just get {gh|p}ostscript errors. I'm inserting it like:
% TEXT
NP
0 SG
GS
1 W
100 740 M
GS
0 SG
/Helvetica FF [20 0 0 -20 0 0] MS
% ------ I inserted this bit ------
/rule (___________________________________________________________________) def
/lw rule stringwidth pop def /lh 30 def
/y 740 def /x 100 def
y -30 0 (x exch moveto rule show) for
lw lh x y comments BreakIntoLines
% ------ I commented out the following
% comments SH
GR
GR
GS
GR
Does anyone have any ideas on what I'm doing wrong. I'm getting:
Error: /typecheck in --for--
Operand stack:
740 -30 0 (x exch moveto rule show)
Execution stack:
%interp_exit .runexec2 --nostringval-- --nostringval--
--nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval--
+--nostringval-- --nostringval-- false 1 %stopped_push 1 3
%oparray_pop .runexec2 --nostringval--
+--nostringval-- --nostringval-- 2 %stopped_push --nostringval--
--nostringval-- --nostringval-- 5 5
+%oparray_pop
Dictionary stack:
--dict:778/809-- --dict:0/20-- --dict:43/200-- --dict:37/100--
--dict:56/78--
Current allocation mode is local
Current file position is 90890
GNU Ghostscript: Unrecoverable error, exit code 1
as errors. I can send the whole cover page if needed (its rather large, so I
didn't wish to just post it here - this mail is long enough as it is!)
Thanks in advance.
Chris
