[hylafax-users] modem with faxgetty doesn't receive fax

Hi all
I'm using hylafax 4.0.2 on a debian 2.2r3 stable, the outbound service on 
ttyS1 is ok, but the receive service on ttyS0 doesn't work.
I've added the following line in /etc/inittab:

S0:23:respawn:/usr/sbin/faxgetty ttyS0

(+ init q) if i run

faxserv:/var/log/hylafax# faxmodem ttyS0
faxserv:/var/log/hylafax#

it's ok, but i i run

faxserv:/var/log/hylafax# faxanswer ttyS0
dev_FIFO.ttyS0: open: No such file or directory

If i try to send a fax to this modem i ear the modem get up the line, but 
after a while it respond with strange sound, in the sending fax i get the 
error "communication problem, resend fax!", and in the hylafax.org of the 
receiving server i get:

What can i do?
