Hi. I'm trying to set up hylafax 4.0.2 on a debian 2.2_r3 box, i've attacched a normal class 2 modem to the ttyS1 to send-only the faxes. Here it's a part of the faxaddmodem output: ----------------- Probing for best speed to talk to modem: 38400 OK. /bin/stty: standard input: unable to perform all requested operations [1]+ Terminated ( trap 0 1 2 15; while true; do sleep 10; echo ""; echo "Hmm, something seems to be hung, check your modem e h?"; done ) This modem looks to have support for both Class 1 and 2; how should it be configured [2]? .... Hmm, this looks like a Class 2 modem. /bin/stty: standard input: unable to perform all requested operations Modem manufacturer is "ROCKWELL". /bin/stty: standard input: unable to perform all requested operations Modem model is "AC/K56". DTE-DCE flow control scheme [default]? ---------- i get the same error (stty unable to perform...) in 'probemodem'. Then if i activate hylafax via '/etc/init.d/hylafax start' and then: faxserv:/home/rts# faxstat HylaFAX scheduler on faxserv: Running Modem ttyS1 (): Waiting for modem to come ready Modem ttyS0 (): Waiting for modem to come ready faxserv:/home/rts# so i cannot send faxes. What can i do? Regards. Davide. ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To unsub: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@hylafax.org < /dev/null
