I understand the purpose of the modem sharing howto, but I do not understand why
you want to use something like that for HylaFAX, which natively can send faxes
throught the network, though not the way the modem sharing howto is about.
What's wrong with
sendfax -hhostname ?
received faxex can be routed, I doubt of the utility of answering to a fax
directly from a remote machine.
