[hylafax-users] network modem use

Hi,

I was just wondering if it was possible to redirect faxgetty and faxsend to
make use of a modem that is shared by another machine. I guess this will
require some patching of the source but where should I start ? With sharing
I mean something like described in the mini linux howto on modem sharing.
The thing is I'd like to run Hylafax in combination with modem pools /
faxmodem boards that are based upon gigantic enterprise servers which
unfortunately do not have opensource fax servers or fax server software
that is suited at all.

If anybody knows about a network modem standard protocol I would appreciate
that too :)
