[hylafax-users] bad fax lines,

Hi all,

Im using hylyafax Version 4.1beta3, on a FreeBSD 4.3-STABLE box. Since
we switched from a standard fax machine to hylafax, we have been missing
a lot of faxes and getting empty faxes.

Today, I got a 6 page document (tiff) which I can't view, looking at the
output from tiffinfo it says there are bad fax lines in the document.
How do I trouble shhot this? Is it the remote fax system that is
missbehaving, or mine? Any idea about how I could salvage the contents
of this tiff?

Im using a 1.0 class external modem (can't seem to find any class 2
modems anywhere!).
