Hi! I'm trying to use HylaFAX from RPM (hylafax-4.1beta3-1rh6) and things work quite fine. I can send faxes with sendfax, and receive them with faxgetty running from inittab. However, retrieving faxes from hfaxd doesn't seem to work. I try to do RETR /recvq/fax00003.tif but I get 550 /recvq/fax00003.tif: Operation not permitted. (this is of course in a session with hfaxd using the hylafax port) This happends even though both hosts.hfaxd and the file I want has the right permissions (owned by the uucp/fax user and 0600). This seems to be the most common reason why things don't work given the mailing list archives. My hosts.hfaxd looks like this: localhost 127.0.0.1 ^fax@10.47.1.209:fax and I get the same response regardless from where I run, and what user I identify as. Do I have to identify by password to be able to retrieve faxes? Do I have to specify 'fax' after the colon? Any ideas are welcome!
