[hylafax-users] Faxes garbled but log not showing errors

Hello!
I'm running Redhat 7.0, Hylafax 4.1beta2 (binary rpm hylafax-4.1beta2-2rh7.i386), libtiff 3.4beta037-2, MultiTech 2834ZDX's (firmware 3.16a - four of them) connected to a RocketPort MultiI/O board.

I'm having problems where some incoming faxes are perfect yet others come across "hammered". Here's a typical receive log of a hammered incoming fax...

The remote station normally gets a report that his fax was successfully received my me. When I have the remote faxer send to one of my stand alone fax machines (Richoh), his fax comes across with no problems. I think I'm looking at not having my faxmodem config'd proper. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

BTW, I switched to libtiff 3.4 when my modems were hanging with the faxstat report of "Receiving from...". It seems to have worked.

Best Regards,
Dennis Fellows
