If:
- "data" and "pcl" are what the "file" command told you
- you want to send those files to HylaFAX to be faxed
then I'm afraid you have a difficult task.

You have to:
1) find out what format the "data" files are actually in
2) find a PCL to PS converter. There was a discusion about this issue
some time ago on the list and no definitive solution was found.

Note that usually rh filters do the opposite: PS -> PCL.

Any chance to get the AS400 to output PS files?

Are these files simple text files, so that maybe the PCL is just some
excape sequence you can manually convert, or are they images/complex
stuff?
