Hello,
        HylaFax for SuSE 6.4 was just recently patched, as of a few days ago to
work properly with the libtiff 3.5 that came with SuSE 6.4 . Download the
patched HylaFax rpm from

ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse_update/6.4/n1/hyla_tiffp.rpm

Tell me the results. By the way, there is a HylaFax HOW-TO for SuSE users
on the www.hylafax.org FAQ it is Q115.

Good luck and let me know if that new rpm does the trick. If you don't want to
do a complete reinstall, the patch itself is somewhere on the HylaFax site.
