I've never installed anything but tarballs and RPMs. >How do I get the patches that you linked to below and how do I apply them? Well, maybe you shouldn't worry about these patches. They're not critical. However, if you're interested in doing it, you need to download the patches from the website. In most browsers, that's a right-click on the link and "Save link as..." You apply patches to source code via "patch". There's a nice little intro into the patch command found at: http://www.hylafax.org/patches/, but you should ignore all of the patches there. The link that it gives to "Patch for Beginners" is informative. After patching (or not), you install CVS HylaFAX just the same as you would install tarball HylaFAX: cd hylafax ./configure make make install faxsetup Lee. ____________________ HylaFAX(tm) Users Mailing List _______________________ To unsub: mail -s unsubscribe hylafax-users-request@hylafax.org < /dev/null
