[hylafax-users] Fax problems

At first:
HylaFAX (tm) Version 4.1beta2
GhostScript 5.10
Linux version 2.3.9 (root@mara) (gcc version 2.7.2.1) #22 Wed Jul 19 16:14:36 CEST 2000
/dev/ttyS0, UART: 16550A, Port: 0x03f8, IRQ: 4 (ZyXEL U-1496E ext.)
/dev/ttyS1, UART: 16550A, Port: 0x02f8, IRQ: 3 (ZyXEL U-1496E ext.)
/dev/ttyS2, UART: 16550A, Port: 0x03e8, IRQ: 11 (ELSA Microlink 33.6TQV ext.)

I'm getting two different error messages (for some month) on every of the
three modems. It doesn't matter, if I just use one, directly specify a modem
or anything. The faxes are generated by a self-made script using...
/usr/bin/sendfax -n -E -P 191 -k 'now + 1 day' -f \'$RName <$Mail>\' -B 9600 -I
5min -l -s a4 -d $FaxNr $DocList 2>&1
(while $RName is the Sender's name, $Mail is the Senders e-mail-address, $FaxNr
is the fax-# (which appears to be correct using faxstat -ais) and $DocList is
a space-divided list of documents, Hylafax should send.
Everything works fine, except that some (nearly all) recipients are getting the
first page 3-30 times (no matter how may pages are waiting to sent). In most
cases, I'm getting an "Unspecified transmit phase B error" or the following.
All destinations claim to receive faxes okay on the same day as I try.

Doc #22504 is a self-made cover page (I can't use Hylafax's cover system for
some reasons, but that's not the problem). Both documents are textfiles which
were converted to postscript using the sendfax tool, but it doesn't care which
type of and/or how many documents I sent, I'm getting the errors all the time.
