[hylafax-users] Problem when faxes are received

Hi

I've just setup HylaFax on a Red Hat 7 box running on a 750Mhz Duron based
system with two USR Sportsters connected to the serial ports (one sportster
is a 28.8, the other is a 33.6). It's intended to be used (at least for now)
only to receive faxes. It all works in that I can receive faxes and they are
printed automatically by the faxrcvd script.
The problem lies in what happens after the fax is received. As soon as the
remote caller hangs up, the local printer springs into life and spews out
the received fax. The phone line is on hook by this point and the modem
shows this, except that the AA light is on. faxstat reports the fax as still
receiving for a couple of minutes or so. During that time, no more faxes can
be received on that line.
Is there a way to force faxgetty to reset the modem, or whatever it is that
it needs to do so that the line can be answered again straight away?

Many thanks,
