Thanks for the info.
You were right ! 
I changed my config file for my USR FaxModem, (I turned it into a Class 1 
modem),
and it works fine... no errors left... 
I read also some articles on modems lies about their capacities, 
and it seems USR Faxmodem is NOT a real Class 2.0 modem ... 
So next time i'll choose other model... 
what one would be the best for Hylafax ?? Zyxel ? MultiTech ?
What about some external french local models (trademarks : Olitec, 
Kortex) ? These are easily available here, 
but are they usable (with Hylafax, i mean) ?
