hi,
ok, now my debuging-queue has drained..... ;-) , nearly....
is it possible other tasks (like pppd) are interfering with hylafax?
they may use /dev/cua0 or /dev/modem to access the device and because of
that won't recognise the device is in use by another process.
or your port is somehow broken and it shows up only with hylafax.
but that are wild guesses.
if you can try it out.
