[hylafax-users] Occasional problem - more information

Occasionally, when sending I hear the exchange going on over and over where 
the two modems seem to try to connect but repeatedly never handshake to 
completion.

The modem is a Telebit Worldblazer operating as a Class 1.

Software is hylafax-4.1beta2-4rh6.src.rpm.

I have heard this same exchange occasionally on both incoming and outgoing 
faxes with other software in the past so this may be a firmware problem. I 
think theremay be a workaround.

I ran a test using a USR 56k Sportster Voice/Fax/Modem and observed that 
the connection speed was reduced to 4800 in two steps - first to 7200 then 
to 4800 but a 4 page test fax completed to this same number.

Would someone comment on ideas or additional steps necessary?
