Are you saying you cannot change the JobFmt to include k and check that
the killtime is properly set?

Then check the killtime that HylaFAX uses by looking into
/var/spool/fax/sendq/qXXX

In any case:
1) do you see the killtime changing to reflect what you put in -k or
hyla.conf, but HylaFAX expires the job anyway

or

2) do you see that the killtime is always fixed to 3 hours, even if you
use -k or put something in hyla.conf

?
