You don't get two answers - that's the whole point. "the nslookup". Yes, I know it doesn't run the binary, it uses gethostbyname. I simply didn't remember whether that system call would return more than one A record or not, and the manpage is not especially informative on that part... and I didn't think the details were fodder for -users.
