I have spent most of the day, trying to compile up hylafax on solaris 8. Apart from fixing a slight glitch in the dependancies (changing the path of 'assign.h' to one which actually exists), I am having a terrible time getting the 'utils' to compile up (in particular 'utils/libfaxutil.a'. Without this file, nothing else seems to work (presumably it is a key util). Has anyone else come across this problem? What seems to be happening is that SendFaxJob.c++ compiles (well doesn't error, only gives warnings) but no object file gets created. If some wonderful happy person _has_ managed to get it working, would you mind telling me what I am doing wrong? (and perhaps send me 'libfaxutil.a' since I _think_ that with this file the other files will all compile ok....)
