[hylafax-users] Waiting for modem to come ready / Zyxel U1496E V6.13M

I'm using Hylaxax 4.1beta2 on RedHat.

after installing my Modem "U1496E  V 6.13 M" I'm able to send 1 FAX
after that the fax-server hangs, there's the status

   Modem ttyS1 (1651-241): Waiting for modem to come ready

and he waits and waits and waits... and no more fax is sent.

What can I do that the system stops waiting? Even switching Modem off & on
does not
help, either stopping and starting hfaxd.
