Hi Gerhard,

this is another sympton of the the familiar "libtiff" problem which has been
a major issue in this mailing list for some time. Please download and
install the modified Hylafax version from
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse_update/6.4/n1/hyla_tiffp.rpm (you probably have
to uninstall your current version first) and also install libtiff 3.5 (do
not use this version of Hylafax with libtiff 3.4!). Everything should work
fine after that.
