[hylafax-users] Unable To Receive Faxes

We are unable to receive faxes - seems to be the modem setup.  Using HylaFAX
v4.0p12 for RedHat Linux v6.2 with libtiff v3.4.  USR Sportster 33.6 modem
on ttyS1 set up for Class 1.  Any insights would be appreciated - thanks.

Messages log always shows "MODEM /" after the Open ttyS1 line as if there
was nothing to initialize the modem with.  The following log repeats the
[9:AT+FTH=3\r] part 4 times and times out.
