flexfax: Compiling with gcc 2.95

I tried to compile HylaFax 4.1 beta on solaris 8 with gcc 2.95 and I got compilation errors. I tried too Hylafax 4.0 with the patch for gcc 2.8 but impossible to compile with gcc 2.95
Has someone some tips for compiling it ?
And has someone succedded ?
