Thanks for answer.
The first entry in my "/var/spool/fax/etc/hosts.hfaxd" is ".*"
The command "telnet hostaddr 4559" causes this messages:
130 Warning, no inverse adress mapping for client host name "my pc".
220 Pc-FaxServer.domain server (HylaFAX (tm) Version 4.1beta2) ready.

?!?!? Please more help...

for testing you may add an entry

.*

to host.hfaxd

this allows all machines to connect to hylafax

try "telnet hostaddr 4559"
enter "user <yourusername>"
you should get "user <yourusername> logged in"
type "quit" to quit

Hello.
I read a lot of information to hosts.hfaxd, but all the same which I write
there - I get a " ACCESS denied " and a password query of the WHFC Client.
"chmod 0600 hosts.hfaxd" didn't help .
Can anybody help?
