This is an unwarranted assumption. Micro$oft *LOVES* changing the
specs of things without telling anyone, and WHFC seems to operate fine
under NT 4.0.

Most sites that I know of are avoiding Windows 2000 with a passion, due to
the potential for exactly this sort of incompatibility.
