i now found out why my received faxes in low-resolution are pressed to 50% of

in high resolution i get 2290 lines received and this is why it looks fine.
this happens on both modems the same way. one is a best-data 14400 with
rockwell chipset and one is a us-robotics.

does somebody know how to patch hylafax to take the received lines for
calculating the tiff insted of the FPTS value? i am running 4.0pl2 under
freebsd 3.2 on both machines. except that low-resolution receiving thing i
would be ready for going on the production machines.

many thanks,
