flexfax: Hylafax on MacOS X Server

Hi there, 

I am currently searching for a fax server solution for Apple's MacOS X
Server (formerly known as Rhapsody) on a blue-and-white G3 PowerMac with
internal Apple modem. The modem itself is not the problem, it is present
as a standard Unix port (tty..). 

I could not find any information about a Next / Openstep / Rhaysody port
of Hylafax on any hardware. Does anybody know if such a Rhapsody port of
the software is planned or has anyone already done something like this.
I guess this might be fairly straight-forward because the underlying
Unix is BSD-based. 

However, I am not that experienced in porting / compiling Unix packages.
Could somebody give me some hints or help me with a port? 

It goes without saying that any possible result will be distributed
publicly.
