Does it support a direct connection to the phone line? And does it have a manual mentioning its fax capabilities? Can you use things like "kermit" or "tip" or "minicom", depending on your operating system and what you have installed, to set up a direct connection with it? What are the results of running the "probemodem" tool from HylaFAX? Nico Kadel-Garcia Senior Engineer, CIRL Mass.
