You should probably be using /dev/term/b, and making absolutely certain that nothing is running on /dev/cua/b. Conversely, if something is running on /dev/cua/b, nothing should be on /dev/term/b. Sun's unfortunate vendor-delivered implementation of PPP has also been an unfortunate problem, according to old reports. > setitimer(ITIMER_REAL, 0xEFFFED40, 0x00000000) = 0 > read(9, 0x000A94EC, 1024) (sleeping...) > Received signal #14, SIGALRM, in read() [caught] > read(9, 0x000A94EC, 1024) Err#4 EINTR > setcontext(0xEFFFEAA8) > setitimer(ITIMER_REAL, 0x0009869C, 0x00000000) = 0 What in the heck was *THIS* about? > Any known idiocies in Solaris that account for this?
